I was born to wander and everything that is important to me is embedded in my heart.
I used to live in sexy sultry Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, although I was born in Canada to a military Welsh father and an Irish mother. And that explains why I wander and currently live in mysterious Istanbul Turkey.
I was given six months to live in 2008. My memoir LOVE the BEAT GOES ON shares how I healed from a 6-months-to-live diagnosis. In the interests of authenticity, my memoir introduces the love of my life, my cowboy, who shows up fictionalized in some way in all my novels, novellas, and poetry. He's my muse.
